Pier 60 Beach Chair Rentals: Plan a Clearwater Outing

Choose the rental arrangement first

Clearwater's city guide identifies Pier 60 as a location for its beach rental vendor. Check that guide for the separate operator's current service. A chair or cabana used through that operator is not a BeachDay rental.

BeachDay is an option for portable gear delivered to your Clearwater accommodation during a confirmed rental period. You take the equipment to your chosen beach entrance and bring it back after each outing. There is no BeachDay handoff counter at Pier 60 and no attendant setting chairs aside on the sand.

Check the pier's current status

The city's beach information page carries a partial-closure notice for Pier 60, including the fishing pier and bait house. Check that page before making a pier activity part of your plan. A beach visit and access to every part of the pier are separate matters.

Choose a meeting point that does not depend on an area being open. If some of your group will arrive later, share the entrance you used and a recognizable landmark. Keep chairs and bags out of access paths so others can pass.

Plan parking and the walk together

Use the city's beach parking list to compare locations before driving. A listing does not guarantee a space when you arrive. Consider a second suitable lot and what a different starting point would mean for carrying the gear.

Guests walking from a nearby hotel should ask the property about the best entrance and any steps along the route. Pack for the return journey as well: folded chairs, shade and personal supplies all need to get back to your accommodation.

Use a compact, complete gear list

Count the people who need a seat at the same time and review current BeachDay packages. Choose shade and optional items only after considering the space in your vehicle or the route from your stay. If a cart is useful, check dimensions where doorways, storage or trunk space could be limiting.
