Choose between park rentals and gear for your stay
Sand Key beach chair rentals can mean two different arrangements. You might want equipment from a concession at the park, or portable gear to keep at your accommodation during a rental period. Decide which fits your trip before comparing prices.
Pinellas County lists umbrella and cabana rentals at Sand Key Park. Those are separate from BeachDay. Contact the park's concession directly for its current equipment, prices, hours and availability. BeachDay does not operate a rental stand at the park or provide cabanas, beach attendants or on-beach setup.
For accommodation delivery, look through BeachDay's current packages and gear lists. If your stay is on Sand Key, include the exact address in your request so the team can confirm whether delivery is available there. A Sand Key outing alone does not establish accommodation coverage.
Know which address you need
The county lists Sand Key Park at 1060 Gulf Boulevard, Clearwater. This is the park entrance address, not a BeachDay shop, pickup counter or delivery destination. Use your hotel or vacation rental address when arranging BeachDay gear.
Keep those two locations separate in your travel plan. First arrange how gear reaches your accommodation; then decide how your group and equipment will reach the park. If you will drive, check the vehicle's space with your luggage still inside. If you will walk, consider the complete route and the return trip with wet towels and tired beachgoers.
Plan the walk from the car to the beach
The county park map shows the parking areas, paths, restrooms and beach. Review it before choosing a meeting point. A pin at the entrance is only the beginning of your route to a place on the sand.
Divide carrying tasks before unloading. Chairs, shade and personal bags all need a place in your plan. A cart may help consolidate equipment, but it still needs someone to pull it and enough space in your vehicle. Ask BeachDay about dimensions or carrying requirements if these will determine what your group can manage.
For anyone who needs accessible equipment or help crossing sand, ask the county about current park accessibility arrangements. A standard rental chair is not a mobility aid, and BeachDay's delivery service does not include personal assistance to the beach.
Choose a practical gear list
- Count the people who want a seat at the same time.
- Check what your accommodation already provides before adding duplicate chairs.
- Choose shade based on the equipment you can safely carry and set up.
- Plan separately for drinking water, towels, sun protection and snacks; these are not assumed package inclusions.
- Leave room to bring all gear back to your stay after each outing.
Use the current package page for specific inclusions, rental duration requirements and pricing. Old daily prices, lounge-chair passes and concession payment rules should not be used as BeachDay terms.
Check park notices before leaving
Follow the county park page for access and facility updates, then follow posted signs at the beach. Keep your route clear of protected areas and leave time to pack up. Shade equipment does not make poor conditions suitable for a beach visit.
Request a quote for your accommodation
Send your dates, group size, desired gear and accommodation details through the BeachDay quote form. Ask your hotel or host how rental gear may be received and stored. The team must confirm availability, address coverage, final pricing and delivery arrangements; sending a quote request does not reserve gear or confirm a booking.
