The City of Clearwater beach parking page links parking resources and explains municipal payment options. City lots and street spaces are enforced daily, with hours that vary by location. Read the signs where you actually park, even if an older guide gives a different rate or time limit.

Save two parking options before leaving your accommodation. The first should suit the beach area you want; the second should be a place you would still be happy to use if the first is full. A little flexibility is more useful than repeatedly circling one entrance with a tired group in the car.

Compare central beach access and Sand Key

For a visit centered on Pier 60 and the central beach, use the city map to compare nearby public lots, garages and street parking. Check whether a space is designated for another use, including marina customers. Being close to a public beach does not make every lot general beach parking.

Sand Key Park is a separate county-managed option with both beach and park areas. Look at the county’s park information if that setting fits your plans. Do not assume a Clearwater city payment or parking rule also covers the county park.

Plan the walk while the car is still parked

• Identify a legal crossing and public beach entrance.
• Check whether a cart route includes stairs, narrow gaps or soft sand.
• Keep your payment confirmation and note any time limit.
• Remember the return walk with wet gear and the same passengers.

If someone needs a shorter walking route, confirm the access details with the city or park before the outing. A nearby accessible parking space and access all the way onto sand are different things.
