Start with the part of Treasure Island that fits your stay

The central Gulf Boulevard area places you near the island’s main restaurant corridor and Beach Trail. Farther north, you move toward John’s Pass and the bridge to Madeira Beach. Sunset Beach occupies the southern end of Treasure Island. Bayfront properties face the sheltered side of the island, which gives you a water setting but requires a separate trip to Gulf sand.

The tourism bureau’s island guide is useful for orienting the three beach areas and bridges. Compare the address and room category on the hotel’s own site before treating a water-view photograph as a promise of direct beach access.

Treasure Island Beach Resort: compare the view carefully

Treasure Island Beach Resort’s FAQ explains the building’s U-shaped layout. Gulf Front rooms face toward the water, Gulf View rooms sit along the inside wings, and Resort View suites occupy interior corners. Select the named category that matches the view you want; beachfront describes the property, while the booking category describes your room.

The resort has a beachfront pool and an on-site restaurant. Its FAQ lists self-service laundry. The resort policies include one car’s self-parking in the resort fee; one-bedroom suites allow one vehicle, while two-bedroom suites may purchase an additional space subject to availability. This is a useful central candidate for guests who want a hotel stay with dining close at hand. Compare the full booking total and the room’s sleeping arrangement before deciding. The person reserving and checking in must be at least 21.

Check the same policies before arranging beach gear: the resort prohibits private umbrellas and tents, and limits its pool and beach facilities to registered guests. Confirm where any outside equipment can be used before ordering it for this stay.

Sunset Vistas: separate bedrooms for a longer beach stay

Sunset Vistas offers two- and three-bedroom suites with full-size kitchens and living/dining areas. Its two-bedroom categories distinguish Partial Gulf View, Gulf View and Gulf Front; the published layout includes a king bed, a queen bed and a sleeper sofa. Check who would use the sofa when comparing the advertised capacity with your group’s comfort.

A separate children’s pool gives families another way to divide beach and pool time. The northern address is useful to compare if outings toward Madeira Beach matter to your stay, but the resort itself remains in Treasure Island. It is also different from the Sunset Beach neighborhood to the south despite the similar names.

FUSION: bay views and apartment-style space

FUSION Resort sits by the bay at 290 107th Avenue. Treat it as a bayfront base with a separate Gulf beach journey. A dock or broad balcony may be part of the attraction, but neither changes which shoreline the property faces.

The suite descriptions list full kitchens, separate living rooms and two- or three-bedroom arrangements. Standard two-bedroom suites have no in-room laundry; premium two-bedroom suites include a washer and dryer. The resort FAQ says there is no public laundry facility. For guests who expect to cook and spend some afternoons indoors, compare these layouts alongside beachfront suites, then map the actual beach-access route you would use with towels and chairs. FUSION’s policies require the room renter to be 21 or older; that is a booking-age requirement, not an adults-only designation.

Sunset Inn: a smaller base in the southern neighborhood

The current Sunset Inn & Cabanas website describes a roadside inn across from Sunset Beach, with guest rooms and a courtyard pool. The property is adults-only for guests 21 and older. Choose an overnight guest room when booking accommodation: the poolside day cabanas are not overnight rooms, and overnight guests can use the pool without reserving a cabana.

The King guest rooms have a mini-fridge, microwave and Keurig rather than a full kitchen. Two rooms are upstairs with stairs-only access, so check the exact room if stairs would affect your stay. This address suits a traveler who wants to spend time around Sunset Beach and values a smaller property. For a family using the beach twice a day, start with a Gulf-side property and check the room-to-sand route, elevator access and kitchen. For friends mixing beach days with shared meals indoors, compare the separate bedrooms at Sunset Vistas and FUSION. For a couple prioritizing Sunset Beach, investigate the inn’s exact guest-room layout and road crossing.
